What if fear wasn’t in control?
Fear is loud. But God’s Word is louder.
Hey Purpose Family,
Imagine this:
She’s 24, sitting in the parking lot outside the gym. Hands on the steering wheel, heart racing. Not because she doesn’t want to work out, but because she’s afraid she’s not enough.
Afraid she’ll fail.
Afraid they’ll stare.
Afraid it won’t matter.
So she scrolls. Opens Instagram. Closes it. Looks up at the sky and whispers, “God, I don’t want to live like this anymore.”
That whisper, that moment, iss where fear begins to lose.
Because fear thrives in silence. But the moment you start speaking God’s Word over your life, everything starts to shift.
Here are 2 scriptures to overcome fear:
1) Isaiah 41:10
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
God doesn’t just observe. He upholds. His presence is the antidote to fear.
2) 2 Timothy 1:7
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”
Fear isn’t from God. Power is. Love is. Clear thinking is. When fear whispers, check the source.
The girl in the car didn’t have a miracle moment.
She just opened the door.
Walked inside.
And whispered Scripture to herself between every rep.
That’s how fear dies. One step. One verse. One surrender at a time.
With you always,
